Whether you’re looking to renovate the interior or exterior of your home, Ironstone Homes ensures this process runs smoothly and fits within your budget.

Creating a layout that makes sense.
Similar to the process of building a new home, the first step of a home renovation is to meet with us so that we can understand your existing floor plan and discuss and brainstorm your family’s needs and desires. Important things to consider include the existing functionality of your home, where it could use improvements, and the possibilities of an addition to your home if desired. Don’t forget to think outside the box because at Ironstone Homes, we pride ourselves in making your bold ideas come to life. Once we develop a plan, take measurements, and have a good understanding of your style, we have the design drafted to scale.
Getting more out of your home for less.
After the initial draft comes back, we will meet with you to discuss the design, make any changes, and talk about the budget. Depending on the scale of the renovation, the costs are typically less than building a new home. With any home renovation, It’s our goal to design a space that makes you fall in love with your existing home again, all within your specified price range.
Selecting the perfect finishings.
Once the design is approved, the next stage is where our interior design team comes in. Selecting the finishes for your renovation can be both fun and overwhelming, which is why our talented team works with you to make this process as stress-free as possible. From flooring to light fixtures, we ensure that each finishing selection is functional and allows your personality to show.
It’s transformation time.
Some home renovations may not require approval from the city, but in most cases, a building permit must be released before construction begins. Once we get the go-ahead from the city (if applicable), the work will begin and before too long, you may not even recognize your home. As the renovation takes place, we ensure that you are aware of the plans, progress, and answer any questions you may have. Upon completion, we will walk through your home to ensure you’re familiar and satisfied with all aspects of the renovation.
